2017 Summer Camp 

The YMCA offers an all day Summer Camp for children ages 5-11 (They must have completed kindergarten and not have started 6th grade yet). Summer Camp runs the entire summer, Monday - Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm (excluding some holidays). Campers will make new friends and grow closer to current friends as they swim, play games, do arts and crafts, and take weekly field trips.

The YMCA is a United Way agency and provides scholarships as funds are available.

Where will camp be held?     At the Hopkinsville YMCA! 

What will the kids do at camp?   Parents will drop off / pick up at the YMCA.  Age appropriate groups will rotate in the basketball gym, kid’s corner, teen center, outdoor pool, outdoor chapel, aerobics room, tennis courts, and ball fields.  One field trip will be provided every week. Some weeks will have two field trips. Participants must bring lunch every day while YMCA provides snacks.

*Updated immunization forms must accompany registration form.

Camp Hours of Operation:  6:30 am – 6:00 pm

How many days a week can my child attend camp? Any number of days, but payment for a full week is required—there are no 2 or 3 day options. Weeks with holidays/short weeks due to school schedules will be pro-rated.

What days/dates will camp meet? *Dates may change depending on public school system schedule*

Space is limited; families who register for multiple weeks have priority.
The YMCA is a United Way agency and provides scholarships as funds are available.

*A mandatory Parent's Meeting will be held for information regarding all rules and regulations of camp. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, purchase apparel, and meet counselors. Dates and times for this meeting will be sent out to those who have registered their children for Summer Camp.

Special Needs Summer Camp

Henderson Memorial Church

501 Noel Ave, Hopkinsville, KY 

Camp will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm  / $50.00 per week

Activities Include: 
Themed weeks, sensory activities, music groups and arts & crafts

June 13,14,15

June 20,21,22

June 27,28,29

July 4 (no camp), 5, 6

July 11,12,13

July 18-20 (no camp its VBS at the church)

July 25,26,27

 

Scholarships Available* 

Space is limited to 15 campers per week and is on a first come, first serve basis.
