YMCA Guidelines for Facility Usage
1. Each party must provide his/her own food and decorations. The YMCA will provide tables and chairs if requested.
2. FULL payment is due when the reservation is made. Additional donations are appreciated.
3. In case of cancellation, an administration fee of $50 will be assessed.
4. All participants will follow rules and guidelines of the facility and will follow instructions by the YMCA personnel in charge.
5. By using the facility, you take responsibility for any damages. In case of damage, payment to cover the cost is expected in a timely manner.
6. Guests may be asked to leave the premises if they are found using foul language, creating threatening situations, causing physical altercations, holding paraphernalia or a weapon or violating any YMCA rule, guideline or principle.
The Hopkinsville YMCA will provide a staff member to act as monitor of the facility. This employee has authorization in all matters regarding the facility and the participant’s behavior. Your organization is responsible to supervise and discipline all participants. Please pick up all trash in all areas when the event ends and the group must depart by 7 a.m. the next morning. Adults must remain at the YMCA and supervise youth until they have been picked up by a parent or guardian.
The posted gym rules must be followed to ensure care of the gym floor and gym equipment. The restrooms and locker rooms must be supervised when youth are using them. Adult supervision is required for youth with a 1 to 10 ratio, NO EXCEPTIONS. Wellness Center, track aerobics room, art room, and cycling room are not to be used. User is responsible to pay for any damages that occur.
